Alexia was born in Fort Worth and raised in Azle, Texas. She attended Azle High School where she graduated with honors. While attending college, her life took a different direction when she had her son, Sean. Alexia’s life changed again as it does for many women throughout the workforce as she became a single mother.
Alexia started at a financial company as a data input processor in 1998 where she soon uncovered her talent for understanding the world of investments. She attained her Series 6 and 63 in 2000 and advanced on the corporate ladder. She added her Series 65 and her Life and Health Insurance License, advancing her expertise to that of a financial advisor. Her skills and passion for helping men and women understand how planning today will affect their retirement presented her with the opportunity to become an Asset Management Specialist where she helped high-income clients. During the 2008 to 2009 market volatility, she maintained open communication with her clients directly resulting in her high retention rate. She decided to make some changes in 2013 and moved to an internal compliance inspector role where she earned her Series 26 and returned to college. As an inspector, she investigated and reviewed offices all over a 12 state division. Alexia trained new and mature advisors as well as branch managers on the changes passed down from SEC, FINRA and various state insurance departments. As a single mom, she worked full time and finished her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at LeTourneau University in 2014. Alexia returned to her work with clients as a financial advisor in 2015 and relocated to Huntsville, AL. In 2018, she joined the Wealthbridge Financial Advisors family, hoping to take advantage of new opportunities for clients and herself.
Alexia is client-centered and believes it is vital for all women to know and learn of their financial status as nine out of ten women will have to make financial decisions alone at some point in their lives. She understands the need to budget and manage the moving parts of life as a single parent. Alexia feels everyone should identify their financial future along with their present financial status. Alexia enjoys offering presentations to help those who do not have a financial plan as well as those to better understand why 401(k), TSP and other employer benefits are there to help build up people’s retirement bucket. She can help you select the best option for you and your family when navigating the company benefits available.
In her downtime, Alexia is an avid reader and enjoys wine tastings. The new craft brewery boom in Huntsville keeps her busy on the weekend. She enjoys travelling around the country. Alexia is an avid animal lover and has recently rescued two cats who keep her on toes. Alexia built a house in Madison in 2017. She visits family in Fort Worth frequently but appreciates Huntsville’s cooler weather and happier traffic!
